Chemo-therapeutic agents and  ONLY Chemo-therapeutic agents are mixed in a specialized Chemo Room at Infuserve America .  There is no possibility of cross contamination of Chemo- therapeutic products with non Chemo-therapeutic products.

The patients complete drug needs are assessed each time a patient is admitted for service.  Not only are the IV therapy requirements assessed and provided, but also the entire drug history and regimen are reviewed for appropriateness of therapy and safety.

Individualized Patient Information concerning the medication therapy is given to the patient in a patient diary.  The diary contains all forms and information concerning their drug therapy to avoid confusion.

Example of Patient Drug Information

The patient drug information is provided so that the patient has an understanding of his/her therapy, side effects, precautions and possible drug interactions.   The purpose of providing this information is for the purpose of avoiding down stream problems, complications and possible hospitalizations.  Moreover, proper storage and missed dose information is provided to insure proper utilization.

The most expensive drug product is the one that is not used properly.  To insure products dispensed by Infuserve America , Patient drug information reinforcing patient  is provided.   

During therapy, patients are contacted to insure proper compliance (taking the medication at the right time, in the right dose) but also to insure there are no adverse consequences of drug therapy.  Patient’s drug regimens are reviewed again to see if medication is added or omitted.   Supplies are reviewed to insure dressings and flushes are properly utilized
