Medications are prepared in two Clean rooms with class 100 areas, as well as IV Horizontal and Vertical Hoods.  We separate preparation of Chemotherapeutic and other IV preparations into two rooms.  Only Chemotherapeutic medication is prepared in our Chemo room, all other preparations are prepared in the main Clean room.  

Mimi Scott is a certified pharmaceutical technician.  She's had extensive experience in hospitals and IV therapy pharmacies.  Years of experience are evident when one review's Mimi's pharmaceutical preparation.  Safety is our main concern when preparing IV's.  Mimi's expertise and experience is obvious when reviewing safety logs at Infuserve America.  Mimi's dedication and attention to detail has helped Infuserve America's record of ZERO pharmaceutical compounding errors over the years during Mimi's employ.

Checks and balances require each IV order be reviewed four times before it leaves the pharmacy. One person gathers the items required for the IV, another individual checks to insure the proper items have been chosen.  Then the items are moved into the clean room, where a person who is properly attired prepares the IV.  When that has been done, another individual checks the finished product.  Not only are the contents viewed to insure they "look right" but the medication bottles are checked to insure they have been properly used.  Now the order moves to the order completion area.  Items contingent to the IV administration are removed from the shelve and placed with the order.  Another inspection occurs at this time to insure all IV drugs and contingent supplies are together, appropriate and ready for shipping.

Finally, the items are boxed and labeled for the individual.  Before the package is sealed another check insures all appropriate shipping materials (ice packs, fillers etc) are in the package to insure appropriate delivery to our customer.

But that's not the end of the story.  To insure we have adequate stock for the customers next delivery, appropriate supplies and medication are ordered.  We chose our vendors carefully.  Drugs and supplies are ordered from legitimate wholesalers who can deliver to us in a safe and efficient manner.
